His appearance on Thursday will be a point of pride for Worcestershire. Having been at the county since the age of six, he will be their first Test debutant since Moeen Ali in 2014.”It’s going to be a massive thing for Worcester,” said Tongue. “Playing from the age of six years old, going through the age groups to getting my first professional contract, there are a lot of people at Worcester who have influenced my career. I’m just thankful to all those who have helped me on my journey.”This will also be Tongue’s first match at Lord’s, though he has been in the stands as a fan for Test matches in the past with his family. Both his parents, his brother, his partner and his child will be in attendance for his debut. But that play-off spot does not come without one major warning. Whilst success would leave them in dreamland, failure to secure a place in the top flight could yet see the Black Cats picked apart by interested parties this summer.

Among those who are reportedly likely to leave is one of Le Bris’ most talented players. According to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg, RB Leipzig have now opened talks to sign Jobe Bellingham this summer, gathering all the information they need to launch their move. And although his valuation is still reportedly out of their range, the midfielder’s exit remains likely this summer.

Making matters worse, he’s not the only who could leave in the coming months with captain Dan Neil also attracting plenty of attention from the likes of West Ham United and AS Roma in recent weeks. By the time August arrives, Sunderland could have lost two key players.

"Powerful" Bellingham is destined for stardom

The downside of having players as talented as Bellingham at your disposal is that the big clubs will inevitably come calling. And Sunderland are set to learn that the hard way this summer with Leipzig already making their move.

The German club’s interest should come as little shock. After all, it wasn’t so long ago that Borussia Dortmund were benefitting from signing Birmingham City star Jude Bellingham. Now, years on, Leipzig are looking to repeat that genius in the hope that the Real Madrid star’s younger brother is just as talented.

It has also been no surprise that Bellingham has found himself at the centre of Le Bris’ praise this season, with the Sunderland boss describing his midfielder as “powerful” earlier in the campaign. However, whether Sunderland have the chance to see that power in action next season remains to be seen.

– Sempre importante. Como você falou, fazia um tempo que eu não fazia gol e não jogava. É importante depois de um jogo igual de quinta-feira, que exigiu muito desgaste físico e mental, que o mister tenha mudado um pouco o time. Quando você joga com quase onze que não vinham jogando junto, você encontra dificuldades. Mas acho que fizemos um bom jogo, a gente precisava do ponto – disse.

Com as poucas chances recebidas, um novo debate revisita ao falar sobre o atleta. O contrato do jogador vai até o final desta temporada. Entretanto, ao ser indagado sobre seu futuro na equipe, o camisa 23 desconversou destacando ‘ainda não ser o momento para isso’, mas revelou que sonha com um segundo título vestindo a camisa do São Paulo, no caso, da Copa Sul-Americana.

– O futuro nunca conversei, cheguei no São Paulo ano passado, foi complicado depois da minha volta após 15 anos. Tive dificuldades esse ano, mas estou disponível para o mister Rogério, respeito as escolhas dele. Estou disponível. Ainda não conversei sobre meu futuro com a diretoria. Tenho máxima abertura com o Rui, Belmonte, mas acho que não é o momento. Em um ano e meio de São Paulo, meu sonho é sair daqui com dois títulos: o Paulista e a Sul-Americana – disse sobre seu futuro.

Sobre uma possível renovação, Éder reconheceu que poderia ter feito mais pela equipe, mas que não correspondeu da forma que imaginava. O atacante relembrou a questão física sofrida na última temporada. Por conta de um estiramento na coxa direita, o jogador ficou mais de um mês em tratamento no Departamento Médico.

– Queria fazer muito mais. Vim para o São Paulo para ajudar mais, mas sabia que teria dificuldades. Um grande jogador como William veio para o Corinthians, mas não conseguiu ser aquilo que ele é. Ano passado tive dificuldades físicas, esse ano estou bem. Joguei mais no Paulistão, começo do Brasileiro, mas por livre escolha do Rogério, estou sempre disponível para os minutos que ele me dá. Acho que não foi aquilo que eu queria, queria dar muito mais – concluiu.

Jack Leaning led from the front as Kent Spitfires beat Surrey by 87 runs in a Metro Bank One-Day Cup contest at the Kia Oval that also featured a dream debut cameo, with both bat and ball, from 17-year-old Jaydn Denly.Skipper Leaning top-scored with 87 from 94 balls in Kent’s 50-over total of 330 for 6 and then bowled ten overs from the Pavilion End for just 37 runs with his off-spin to set the tone for a Surrey struggle to 243 all out in reply, with leg spinner Matt Parkinson also impressing as he took 4 for 43.Alex Blake, hitting 62 from only 50 balls, and Daniel Bell-Drummond, who scored 65, were other Spitfires’ batting stars in what was their third-highest List A total against Surrey.Only Ryan Patel, with 68, and Jordan Clark – seventh out for 55 off 48 balls – threatened to break Kent’s hold on the game as they worked their way through the Surrey batting line-up.Denly – the nephew of Joe Denly, who missed this game through injury – marked his debut by taking a wicket with his third ball. وسبق أن أبدى المدير الفني لفريق إنتر ميامي، خافيير ماسكيرانو، اعتراضه على توقيت تلك المباراة في الجو الحار.

وقال ماسكيرانو: “تم استدعاء ميسي وألبا، أود أن يحصلا على الراحة، ولكن هذا ليس قراري، أعرف مدى أهمية مباراة كل النجوم”.

وعلى الرغم من استدعاء ليونيل ميسي وجوردي ألبا ولكن مشاركتهما في المباراة ليست مضمونة حتى الآن، حيث غابا عن التدريبات أمس، ولم يقدم مدرب كل النجوم، نيكولاس إستيفيز، والذي يدرب فريق أوستن إف سي كذلك، أي توضيحات حول الأمر.

وذكرت صحيفة “miamiherald” الأمريكية أن قواعد الدوري الأمريكي لكرة القدم تنص على أن أي لاعب من نجوم الدوري يغيب عن المباراة دون عذر مقبول، ستتم معاقبته.

وأوضحت أن تلك العقوبة تتمثل في إيقاف اللاعب لمباراة واحدة مع فريقه في بطولة الدوري.

وأشارت إلى أن ذلك الأمر قد يعني غياب ميسي وألبا عن مباراة إنتر ميامي الهامة ضد سينسيناتي، يوم السبت المقبل، في الدوري الأمريكي، حال غيابهما عن لقاء كل النجوم.

وأفادت أن هناك طريقتين فقط للالتفاف على تلك القاعدة، وهما تقرير إصابة رسمي أو إعفاء ممنوح من مسؤولي الدوري.

ولم يصدر إنتر ميامي أي بيانات تخص إصابة ميسي أو جوردي ألبا حتى الآن، مع تبقي القليل من الوقت قبل المباراة المذكورة.
