أعلن المدير الفني للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي يوفنتوس، أندريا بيرلو، عن قائمة اللاعبين لخوض مباراة مساء اليوم، السبت، أمام كالياري في بطولة الدوري الإيطالي.

وتُلعب المباراة في تمام الساعة العاشرة إلا ربع بتوقيت “القاهرة” على ملعب “أليانز” بمدينة “تورينو”.

وشهدت قائمة يوفنتوس للمباراة غياب ثلاثة لاعبين وهم، ليوناردو بونوتشي، جورجيو كيليني وآرون رامسي، وتواجد كلاً من أليكس ساندرو، ماتياس دي ليخت وباولو ديبالا.

لتضم القائمة كلاً من:

حراسة المرمى: تشيزني، بينسوليو، بوفون.

الدفاع: دي ليخت، ساندرو، دانيلو، كوادرادو، ديميرال، دي باردو، فرابوتا.

زعمت تقارير صحفية، أنّ نادي آرسنال الإنجليزي، جادًا في فكرة التعاقد مع صانع ألعاب في نافذة الانتقالات الشتوية القادمة.

ميكيل أرتيتا المدير الفني للجانرز، يُخطط لضم صانع ألعاب جديد، لتعزيز صفوفه، وخاصًة بعد تجميد الألماني، مسعود أوزيل، حيث خرج الألماني تمامًا من حسابته ولم يُقيده في قائمة الفريق المحلية أو الأوروبية.

وبحسب صحيفة “ميرور”، فإن آرسنال يستعد لتقديم عرض قدره 20 مليون جنيه إسترليني (23 مليون يورو)، من أجل التعاقد مع الدولي المجري دومينيك سوبوسلاي، صانع ألعاب فريق ريد بول سالزبورج النمساوي.

سوبوسلاي ظهر بشكل مميز مع فريقه، وكذلك مع المجر، وقادهم للتأهل لأمم أوروبا 2020، ويتواجد على رادار ريال مدريد وبايرن ميونخ، إلى جانب توتنهام هوتسبير، وكذلك ميلان ولايبزيج.

وأوضحت الصحيفة أّنّه ليس من المعروف ما إذا كان سوبوسلاي، سيرغب في الانتقال لـ آرسنال في الشتاء القادم من عدمه، في ظل وجود تقارير تُفيد برغبته في ارتداء قميص ريال مدريد.

يُذكر أنّ سوبوسلاي هذا الموسم خاض 14 مباراة مع سالزبورج، وسجّل خمسة أهداف، وقدم تسعة تمريرات حاسمة.

Arsenal are interested in signing Espanyol centre-back Mario Hermoso this summer, according to Spanish publication AS.

What’s the word?

Nurtured in Real Madrid’s famous La Fabrica academy, Hermoso left for new pastures in 2017 after seeing his route to first-team minutes blocked as he was shunted to Real’s reserve side.

After showing flashes of ability in his first season at Espanyol, the 23-year old enjoyed a breakthrough campaign this term as his 32 La Liga appearances helped the Barcelona outfit earn a commendable seventh-place finish.

The defender’s impressive form was rewarded with a call-up to the Spanish national team in November and with a €20m (£17.6m) price tag, Bayern Munich and PSG are also said to be interested in the Madrid native.

Good player, but not the solution

While Hermoso is an excellent player who would likely improve the Gunners’ defence, he is not the perfect candidate to fill Arsenal’s defensive void.

Since the days of Tony Adams and Sol Campbell, Arsenal have lacked authority in defence. Instead, the club has attempted to compensate for the dearth of physical supremacy through technical ability, choosing elegant defensive options such as Laurent Koscielny.

Koscielny is no doubt an extremely talented centre-back, but has always lacked the physical stature to command a Premier League box and compete in a muscular battle with physically superior strikers such as Troy Deeney and Aleksander Mitrovic.

Hermoso is another defender that fits into the same category as Arsenal’s previous purchases. Standing at just over 6 foot and weighing 74kg, the Espanyol centre-back lacks the physical profile that Unai Emery’s defence so desperately needs. His main strengths are his passing ability and composure – important traits, but not the traits that are currently missing from the Arsenal defence.

The emerging Espanyol star is a talented defender with an affordable price tag, who could slot into Arsenal’s defence and do a satisfactory job. However, the defensive problems in north London will not be solved until the Gunners invest in someone who can physically match the Premier League’s most ferocious strikers. Hermoso simply is not that.

The Gunners bottled their opportunity to qualify for next season’s Champions League after an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Chelsea in Baku. A result that has damaged the club’s future as well as their plans for this summer’s transfer window.

Qualification for Europe’s premier competition would have seen the Gunners transfer budget reportedly shoot up to £100 million, but now, it will remain a lowly £40 million, and with so many problems in the squad, it is going to be a long summer in north London.

But it’s not all doom and gloom, as in the darkness there was a small but faint shining light in the form of Joe Willock, who made a 13-minute cameo in the final stages of the game and immediately made Arsenal a better side.

His willingness to go forward and actually create chances saw the youngster nearly score himself, and it gave Arsenal fans hope that the future is going to be okay and that Unai Emery has to turn to youth for next season.

With so little money to work with this summer, promoting the likes of Willock, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson to the first-team will not only save the team money on positions they would normally be spending funds on, but it will add excitement to the Gunners.

It is often said amongst fans and journalists who cover the club that Arsenal currently have a golden generation of talent coming through, and next season, Emery has to turn to them to help push the team forward and to instil hope into a team and fan base that are currently at their lowest.

Loads of Liverpool fans have been reacting to the confirmed departure of Daniel Sturridge, and they’ve got nothing but good things to say about the striker.

Sturridge and Alberto Moreno will both leave Anfield when their contracts expire this summer, the club confirmed on their official Twitter account.

“Everyone wishes Daniel and Alberto all the very best for their futures. They will always be a part of the LFC Family,” a club statement said.

And it’s fair to say that sentiment has been echoed for both players by the fans on social media, but for Sturridge in particular.

“The worst we’ve played all season” but “our most straightforward final since 2003” – a Liverpool fan reflects on the UCL final in the video below…

The 29 year-old joined when top four was the only goal each season and major trophies were a pipe dream, but enjoyed a stunning 2013/14 season alongside Luis Suarez.

Injuries have hampered his progress since then, but fans are delighted he will leave on a high as a European champion.

Lots of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to express their frustration at the news that Adam Lallana is set to stay at the club, according to quotes from the player himself as provided by journalist Simon Peach.

The 30-year-old endured an injury hit 2018/19 campaign as Liverpool managed to win the Champions League, their sixth major European Cup.

However, Lallana played a sporadic role and made just 16 appearances across all-competitions, whilst picking up a reported weekly wage of £110k-a-week.

As a result, the news that the former Southampton man looks set to stay at the club next season hasn’t gone down too well with the Liverpool supporters, with some under the impression that the attacking midfielder simply doesn’t pull his weight at the club.

And understandably so.

Given the fact that the Reds have just won the Champions League, they should be able to lure some top players to Anfield with their reputation as European champions, so clinging onto deadwood such as Lallana seems fairly underwhelming in all honesty.

West Ham United fans on Twitter have been reacting to an ExWHUemployee rumour posted by a fan account concerning the club’s summer transfer budget.

The popular Hammers insider source revealed on the West Ham Way Podcast on Wednesday evening that Manuel Pellegrini will have approximately £65m to spend in the current window.

That’s including money made from the sales of players with striker Lucas Perez and midfielder Edimilson Fernandes already heading through the London Stadium exit door for undisclosed fees this summer.

The budget is a far cry from the nearly £100m that the Chilean gaffer was afforded in his maiden window in east London, through which he was able to bring in the likes of Felipe Anderson and Issa Diop.

This has left some members of the Claret & Blue Army feeling somewhat short-changed and they were not happy as remarks such as “Relegation scrap” and “Glad I didn’t renew”, in relation to season tickets, flew around the Twittersphere.
