No total, 239 conselheiros estavam aptos a votar para escolher o novo presidente do São Paulo mas 225 membros compareceram ao pleito realizado na noite desta terça-feira no salão nobre do estádio do Morumbi.

Para se manter à frente do São Paulo, Leco teve que bater um difícil adversário que fez do pleito um dos mais acirrados do clube. Pimenta presidiu o São Paulo no início da década de 90, período mais vitorioso do Tricolor paulista. Ao longo da campanha, o candidato da oposição sempre afirmou ter pelo menos 100 votos, o que deixou em aberto as previsões sobre a eleição. Além disso, contou com o importante apoio do empresário Abílio Diniz.

A eleição também ocorreu após polêmica que quase adiou a disputa. Na última segunda-feira, véspera da disputa eleitoral, o conselheiro Newton Luiz Ferreira, o Newton do Chapéu, entrou com uma ação solicitando que todos os conselheiros vitalícios eleitos a partir de agosto de 2004 fossem impedidos de votar. Além disso, havia solicitado o adiamento do pleito para o dia 29 de abril. A ação só foi indeferida poucas horas antes do início da eleição que confirmou mais um mandato de Leco à frente do São Paulo.

No pleito, os conselheiros também escolheram o novo presidente do Conselho Deliberativo, que teve a reeleição de Marcelo Pupo Barboza. Ele bateu o candidato José Ópice Blum por 129 a 95 votos e se manteve à frente do órgão. Foram escolhidos ainda os novos membros do Conselho Fiscal e do novo Conselho de Administração que foi criado com o novo estatuto do clube.

Dean Smith will not want to let midfielder Marvelous Nakamba go this summer, Aston Villa journalist Luke Hatfield has told Football FanCast.

Last month, the MailOnline reported that both Everton and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Nakamba before the transfer window closes.

The 27-year-old, who joined Villa from Club Brugge back in 2019, was not one of the first names on Smith’s teamsheet last season.

In total, he made just 13 appearances in the Premier League, spending a lot of the campaign on the bench.

Despite that, Hatfield expects the Villa boss to keep hold of the Zimbabwe international.

“I think Dean Smith is happy with having Nakamba there as an option,” the Express & Star reporter said.

“I don’t think he’d want to see him go at all. It might leave them a bit light in that department.”

All in all, Smith does look pleased with his midfield options. While Villa have targeted Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse, attack has been the former Brentford manager’s priority.

He has signed Ward-Prowse’s ex-Southampton team-mate Danny Ings, Leon Bailey and Emiliano Buendia to improve the Villans’ forward line.

Anything can, of course, still happen before the transfer window slams shut, but it looks like Nakamba will be remaining at Villa Park.

No início de 2015, a primeira polêmica envolvendo as equipes – naquele ano – foi com relação ao preço dos ingressos das partidas do campeonato carioca. O mandatário cruzmaltino propôs a FERJ que os ingressos tivessem um valor padrão que ia de R$5 à R$50 e também a meia-entrada universal. A proposta foi aceita pela federação, porém causaria prejuízos à Flamengo e Fluminense, que perderia com seus programas de sócios.

Louis-Dreyfus must move

With the contract situation of Denver Hume having dragged on for over a month now, and there having been no updates regarding the 22-year-old putting pen to paper on a new deal at the Stadium of Light despite the new League One season kicking off this weekend, it would appear to be time for Kyril Louis-Dreyfus to make a move in the market for another option in that position.

Considering the potential Robson seems to possess, he would very much appear to make a fine addition to Johnson’s side ahead of what is sure to be another arduous campaign in the third tier of English football.

Indeed, over his 36 Scottish Premiership appearances for Dundee last season, the £360k-rated man helped his team to keep 12 clean sheets, averaging 1.3 interceptions, two tackles and 2.3 clearances and winning 5.5 duels per game.

For comparison, over Hume’s 24 League One appearances last season, the Sunderland left-back made an average of 0.6 interceptions, 1.3 tackles, 0.7 clearances and won 4.1 duels per game.

While it would undoubtedly be a blow for the club to lose the services of Hume this summer, if Louis-Dreyfus manages to bring in the man who Micky Mellon dubbed a “brilliant” player in as the 22-year-old’s replacement – or better yet, as competition for the academy product – it would certainly soften the blow for Johnson and his side. We believe the Sunderland owner should do all he can to land Robson this summer.

وتابع: “أحمل ذكريات حزينة في كأس العالم، حاولت جاهدًا التأهل إلى تلك البطولة، لكنني لم أستطع فعل ذلك”.

وأضاف: “في عام 2010، خرجنا بشكل سيئ من دور المجموعات، في عام 2014 كانت لدينا بداية رائعة ولكننا صعبنا المهمة على أنفسنا لأننا افتقدنا المركز الأول، وأصبح طريقنا صعبًا للغاية”.

وواصل تصريحاته: “في 2018 لم نتأهل حتى وكنت نادمًا على ما حدث، اعتقد أنه إذا تأهلنا إلى روسيا، كنت سأعتزل دوليًا، وربما كان ليكون خطئًا لأنني بعد ذلك حظيت بأفضل سنوات عمري”.
